Selection overview
| Item | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Duty cycle | Separate continuous production from short cleaning or sterilization exposure. |
| Environment | Include ambient temperature at the electronics and connector. |
| Mounting | Confirm cooling arrangements, insertion and any installation restrictions. |
| Operating envelope | Use simultaneous limits for the selected process connection. |
Build an application-specific specification
Create a duty table listing each operating state: normal production, startup, cleaning, sterilization and shutdown. Include temperature, duration, pressure, vacuum and ambient conditions for every state. Submit the mounting drawing with the request so cooling and access can be reviewed.
Technical reference and scope
The manufacturer positions LFFS for high-temperature applications. Portfolio maximum values do not establish that every connection can operate at the highest temperature and highest pressure simultaneously. The exact version, drawing and operating instructions determine the permitted envelope.
Complete the package
Confirm the sensor, process adapter, seal, cable and any interface or programming accessories in one bill of materials. Ask for the current dimensional drawing and the exact documents needed for your plant. Accessories and approvals are not automatically included.
Before an order is released
- Confirm the complete manufacturer order code, not only the family name.
- Verify medium compatibility and simultaneous operating limits.
- Agree on the output behavior and commissioning record.
- Identify the required material, hygiene or hazardous-area documentation.
