Read the table by configuration
The supplied 2018 LBFS sheet distinguishes industrial, hygienic, cooling-neck and sliding versions. It does not describe one universal sensor meeting every maximum. For example, the standard industrial G½ reference and the high-temperature sliding reference have different pressure limits.
Include ambient temperature and duration
A temporary cleaning peak may be permitted for a limited duration and only under stated ambient conditions. A cooling neck or required projection length helps keep the electronics within limits. Do not remove that installation condition when summarizing a catalogue.
For Lisen, the supplied manual states a standard temperature range and mentions a high-temperature option. The optional maximum requires a confirmed construction and operating envelope, not an assumption that every standard sensor can use it.
Specify the worst credible combinations
Ask for a matrix covering normal operation, cleaning, startup and the relevant upset cases. Each row should include temperature, pressure, duration and medium. Have the supplier identify whether the offered sensor, connection, seal and accessories satisfy each row together.
What to confirm for your application
- Exact order code and construction
- Concurrent temperature and pressure
- Peak duration and ambient conditions
- Connection and seal limits
- Approved drawing and operating envelope
