Lisen or Baumer: compare the required configuration

Begin with the common task

Both ranges in the supplied material concern electronic point detection, not general continuous level measurement. Establish the medium, process limits, mounting and control output. Then review how each offered configuration meets those requirements.

Do not treat a shared G½ connection or DC supply range as proof of interchangeability. Sensing behavior, dimensions, output logic, limits and approvals still need review.

Compare evidence, not only catalogue maxima

For Lisen, use the supplied manual and confirm any special temperature, length or material option. For Baumer, match the complete order code to the applicable current documentation and accessories. A particular Baumer approval cannot be transferred to Lisen, and a Baumer-family maximum cannot be assigned to every LBFS variant.

Make the commercial comparison complete

Ask for the same quantity, included cable and adapter scope, delivery terms, warranty terms and required documents. Evaluate sample-test results where the medium is difficult. A lower unit price is meaningful only when installation, qualification, spares and maintenance requirements are also understood.
