Describe every process state
Milk, cream, syrup, sauce and rinse water can behave differently at a sensing tip. Include warm product, cold residue, foam and the state after cleaning. If recipes change, specify the full expected product range rather than one convenient sample.
Review the hygienic interface
Select the sensor and process adapter as one assembly. Confirm the seal, drainability and required documentation. The available approval depends on the exact construction and matching accessories; a generic brand statement is insufficient.
Cleaning temperature and chemicals may be more demanding than production. Include any sterilization phase and its duration in the pressure/temperature review.
Make acceptance useful to operations
Test product detection, return to empty and behavior during the normal cleaning sequence. Define whether cleaning liquid should count as product present in the control logic. Keep the configuration and any sample-test evidence with the machine documentation so a replacement can be commissioned consistently.
What to confirm for your application
- Recipe range and product temperatures
- Foam and cooled residue
- Complete hygienic connection
- Cleaning and sterilization cycle
- Expected signal during production and cleaning
